Aromas of dried cherry & dark plums are followed by hints of mocha & dark chocolate on the nose. A powerful, full bodied palate with spiced fruit flavours & reasonably dense tannins. Raisin & candied notes come from the 'ripasso' method & are layered with rounded, ripe cherry flavours. The finish is long with spicy nutmeg notes.
