With expert advice in a relaxed, welcoming space, we’re home to Essex’s first walk-in glass cheese room and a beer room packed with local and international brews. We run group tastings 3–4 times a month, and also offer private tastings tailored to your budget and tastes.

Eat & Drink at Liquorice

Our relaxed spot is perfect for catching up over a glass—or a bottle—of wine, served daily from 12pm. We’ve got a great selection of wines by the glass, plus coffee if you’re after something a little different (served from 10am).

A room full to the brim with beer

If you are more of a beer drinker we’re proud to offer a cracking selection of British and international craft beers, real ales and cider that change regularly (along with our core favourites of course). Plus, we always have two rotating beers on tap, so there’s always something new to try.

We serve a fantastic range of wines by the glass or bottle and update the drinks menu regularly with seasonal options and new arrivals.

Our bottled and canned beer selection is second to none and we always have a couple of options on tap too!

On top of a wide range of spirits, we have a good selection of “Low & No” alcoholic drinks and softs.

With a walk-in cheese room featuring more than 50 British and International cheeses, Liquorice is of course, famous for its cheese boards.

We also stock and serve a gorgeous range of British and Continental charcuterie.

To complement the cheese and charcuterie selection, our tapas options are the perfect addition.
