Country: France
Region: Loire / Sancerre
Vintage: 2020
Style: White
Blend: Sauvignon Blanc 100%
ABV: 12.5%
Size: 75cl

Notes: The Sauvignon Blanc grape excels in this rich, limestone soil, giving a crisp edge to the wine`s natural richness. This single vineyard Sancerre has the added complexity of mineral & herbaceous flavours on the palate. Well balanced & round in the mouth, the immense long notes of gooseberries & citrus combine with the crisp flinty notes which linger on the finish.
Producer Info: André Neveu, owner & winemaker of his eponymous domaine in the tiny village of Chavignol, has been making wine for over 45 years. André, locally known only as ‘Casio,’ is a seventh-generation winemaker in this village known mostly for its famous ‘Crottin de Chavignol,’ which is a small round of aged goat’s cheese that is best consumed at 10 AM with a fresh glass of Sancerre (something we can all surely get on board with)! Today, Casio’s son-in-law Thomas Dezat has assumed the role of winemaker at this 30-acre estate. Producing four terroir-specific white Sancerres (all 100% Sauvignon Blanc), as well as a red & rosé both from Pinot Noir, Casio & Thomas are producing some of the best Sancerres available at the moment in our humble opinion.
Tin Shed “Wild Bunch” Eden Valley Riesling shows bright, zesty citrus and green apple aromas with a stony minerality and a hint of lifted floral perfume; on the palate it’s crisp and finely textured, balancing lively acidity with a touch of residual sweetness that frames flavors of lime, pink grapefruit, and crushed wet stone. Pair it with spicy Asian dishes like Thai green curry or Szechuan chicken to let the wine’s acidity tame heat and highlight fruitiness, or serve with fresh seafood—oysters, lemon-dressed scallops, or seared tuna—for a clean, saline contrast; it also sings alongside creamy goat cheese crostini or a herb-forward summer salad. 12.5% ABV. 2 x 75cl bottles.

Wine: Kaiken 'Clasico' Malbec Producer: Kaiken Country: Argentina Region: Mendoza Vintage: 2018 Style: Red Blend: Malbec 100% ABV: 14% Size: 75cl Vegan
Notes: One of our bestselling wines! This Malbec is deep purple in colour. On the nose there are aromas of red fruits such as plums & blackberries, complemented by notes of chocolate & tobacco. On the palate this wine displays extraordinary balance, freshness & soft tannins making for a smooth, full-bodied Malbec from the Andes mountains.
Producer Info: Kaikenes are wild geese, native to Patagonia, that fly across the Andes between Chile & Argentina. In the same way, legendary Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes crossed the Andes to make wines in Mendoza. Aurelio saw the enormous potential of the region for premium viticulture &, after several exploratory trips, founded the Kaiken winery in 2002. His aim was simple: to make great wines in Mendoza &, in doing so, to show the best of both sides of the Andes. The estate vineyards are situated in the heart of Mendoza & further south in the Uco Valley, where many premium producers are now sourcing their fruit. The focus is primarily on Malbec & Cabernet Sauvignon, a variety that was almost forgotten in the region as Malbec’s popularity continued to soar over the past decade. As a result of Kaiken’s protection, there are now several old vine Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in Mendoza that produce excellent wines, including the Kaiken vineyard in the Vistalba district of Luján de Cuyo, first planted in 1910.
Canace Nero di Troia is a rich, medium- to full-bodied red from Puglia showing deep cherry and black plum, savory herb, leather, and a hint of violet, anchored by firm but ripe tannins and bright, food-friendly acidity. Pair it with grilled or braised red meats—especially pork shoulder, lamb chops, or a peppery beef stew—as well as hearty pasta dishes with tomato-based ragù or wild boar. It also complements aged pecorino or sharp sheep’s milk cheeses, charcuterie with fennel or black pepper salami, and rustic vegetable dishes like roasted eggplant, mushroom ragù, or smoky peppers; for a lighter match, try it with tomato-topped pizza or spicy sausage to let the fruit and acidity cut through the richness. 13.5% ABV. 2 x 75cl bottles.
