Made 31 miles East of Paris, Brie de Meaux has to be the most recognised Cheese from France and with good reason! Not many other Cheeses can boast of being crowned ‘Le Roi des Fromages’ aka ‘The King of Cheeses’, proclaimed during the Congress of Vienna in 1814. Brie de Meaux must be made in the region of Ile-de France, unpasteurised and hand ladled. An absolute classic that is creamy with undertones of mushroom.
