They named it after an old folktale of the Devil’s ambition to take Cornwall for himself. He sent a possessed fire breathing dragon who was was spotted by Archangel St Michael when a legendary aerial battle ensued to stop the Dragon dropping a red-hot boulder straight from the fires of Hell. During the fight, the stone fell and that spot became known as Hell’s Stone as well now as their Whiskey!
