The Wine:
This is Rioja in its ‘Tinto’ guise – young & vibrant with intense raspberry & black cherry fruit overlayed with a touch of vanilla. It is beautifully balanced with medium weight & velvety, fine tannins. Excellent entry level Rioja & wine which is always a safe bet for mid-week dinners & parties or gatherings due to its crowd pleasing style. No where near as oaky as the majority of traditionally styled wines from this region, especially the Reserva or Gran Reserva wines.
