This unique & fun wine is 100% Manzoni Bianco (cross of Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco) which was created by Professor Luigi Manzoni in the Veneto region in the 1930s. The grapes were sourced from estate vineyards in the Chiarano area and the resulting wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks where it aged for 5-6 months before bottling.
Bright straw yellow with gold reflections. On the nose, there’s lots of nuanced aromas of citrus fruits, yellow peach, acacia flowers, rose petals and wisteria, and a veil of minerality. The taste is satisfyingly balanced, enveloping, supported by pleasant freshness and flavour. Great to pair with fish based dishes, creamy risotto and poultry or even lightly spiced Asian bites.
